Artichokes With Sour Cream Sauce 

This is one of my absolute favorite recipes I’ve ever tried! I originally found it in an old cookbook of my Moms but we changed it around to how we liked it and this is the recipe we ended up with! 

This recipe is just a base and you may need a little more or a little less. So you will need to keep tasting it tell you get it to taste the way you want. 

You will need for the Dip:

2 cups of sour cream

2 tsp of lemon juice 

1/2 a tsp of dill weed 

3 tsp of Dijon mustard 


Mix everything evenly and taste until everything tastes the way you want it to. Trust me you will know when it’s right. And chill for at least 1 hour before using.
For the artichokes you will need: 

How ever many people you have you will need 1 artichoke per person 

1 large pot of water 

1 tsp of salt (added to the water) 
How to make the artichokes:

1. Wash the artichokes.

2. Cut the artichokes according to the link below.

3. Boil them for 25-35 minutes depending on how big they are. The stems will be tender when done.

4. Remove when done And drain. 

Serve warm or cold with a side of the sour cream sauce you made.
